The facilities of NETEC are authorized to test passenger lifts, goods lifts, hydraulic lifts, escalators, moving walks, firefighters’ lifts, lifts in potentially explosive atmospheres, machine-room-less lifts, mechanical parking systems, aerial work platforms, lift components, moving-walk components and escalator components.
The National Institute of Building Sciences, authorized by Congress in 1974, is a nonprofit nongovernmental organization that brings together representatives of government, the professions, industry, labor and consumer interests to identify and resolve building process and facility performance problems. The Institute serves as an authoritative source of advice for both the private and public sectors with respect to the use of building science and technology.
The Metaalunie Branchegroup NLB, founded in 1997, deals with specific interests of smaller companies who are active in the production, the assembly, renovation, installation, reparation and maintenance of goods lifts and/or passenger lifts for the end user.
PALM was founded in 2003. The association is a nationwide public organization open to persons in the material handling equipment market in Poland. Among its members are companies engaged in production, installation and maintenance of passenger and goods carrying lifts escalators and moving walks.
